First steps after the loss occurrence
1) Necessary documentation
Procure photographs (photographs of the whole product, detailed description of the damage, serial number)
Have a receipt of the product ready at hand
Make sure that the damage is not exacerbated (do not continue to use the damaged product)
2) Documents preparation
Have the number of insurance contract ready
Prepare a detailed description of the extent of the loss
4) When to call the Police of Czech rep.
In case that the product has been stolen, you are required to inform the Police
Do not forget to ask for a police report or an official record of the report; you will be required by us to provide it
4) Familiarise yourself with the Terms and Conditions of the insurance contract

Read the General Terms and Conditions of your insurance contract, where you can find the complete scope and extent of your cover
Reporting of the claim
1) The claim has to be notified to the Insurer immediately upon its occurrence
Procure photographs (photographs of the whole product, detailed description of the damage, serial number)
Have a receipt of the product ready at hand
Make sure that the damage is not exacerbated (do not continue to use the damaged product)

3) To report the incident you need following information
In case that the product has been stolen, you are required to inform the Police
Do not forget to ask for a police report or an official record of the report; you will be required by us to provide it
Claim handling
1) Cause of the loss
Extended warranty (breakdown of the product after legal warranty has expired)
Accidental damage to the product (mechanical damage to the product, leak of a liquid, etc.)
Theft (loss of product due to aggravated assault or robbery)
2) Notification of the loss
Notification of the loss by phone
Notificaion of the loss via our web application
3) Registration of the incident
Upon receipt of the notification of the loss we will assign identification number to your claim and register it within our system
You will be informed of the registration and you will be sent the identification number of your claim either by a text message or an e-mail
4) Sending order to our affiliated service provider
After registering the loss we will select an appropriate partner to carry out the repairs
Based on the type of the product we will opt for an appropriate type of repairs (either we will organize the repair on the spot, its transportation to a service shop, or, in case of small products, you will deliver it directly to the service shop)
Upon delivery of your order, our partner will get in touch with you and communicate the details of the repairs within next 2 working days
5) Reparation
Repairs will be carried out by our partner suppliers
Duration of the repairs is always dependent on the scope and type of damage/defect identified
Duration of the repairs will also be affected by the availability of necessary spare parts
6) Repairable/irreparable product
In case, that the damage/ breakdown is repairable, the product will be repaired, with the costs being covered by the insurance company
In case the product is found to be irreparable or the necessary repair is found nonprofitable, the product will not be repaired and the insurance company will provide you with an adequate new product with similar price and parameters
7) Termination of investigation of the claim
The moment of the successful repair of the damaged product is considered as the moment of termination of claim investigation
In case that the repair of the product is not possible/profitable, the moment of the delivery of a new product to the insured is considered as the moment of termination of claim investigation
Information on termination
1) Termination of extended warranty insurance
Termination of the contract within two months from inception of the contract
Fill in form 'Termination within two months'
Hand in the filled out form at the shopping outlet where you first purchased your product
Your written application for termination of the contract will be processed there and you will get your insurance premium refunded in full
Cancellation of the contract due to warranty claim of the product within legal warranty period
If you make a warranty claim of the product within statutory warranty period and the product is irreparable, termination of the contract can be done at the shopping outlet right away
In case the seller is refunding you for the product as part of the statutory warranty, the full insurance premium will be refunded as well
In case the legal warranty claim is covered by procuring a new product, the extended warranty insurance of the prior product will be terminated by us and you can enter into a new (extended warranty) contract
Other reasons for cancellation of insurance contract
Please write the notice of termination (Notice of termination must contain number of contract, reason for termination, contact information of insured/policyholder and information about product)

These applications are always assessed individually, hence it is possible that you will be contacted by insurance company for substantiation of corresponding documents and additional clarification
2) Cancellation of the insurance of accidental damage and theft
Termination of the contract within two months from inception of the contract

Hand in the completed form at the shopping outlet where you first purchased this product
Within 14 days from inception of the contract your written application for termination of the contract will be processed there (in the outlet) and you will be refunded
After the period of 14 days cancellation of the contract will be executed by insurance company and you will be given unused premium to your bank account
Cancellation of the contract due to claim in terms of statutory warranty
Fill in form ''Application for refunding of unused premium"
Hand in the completed form at the shopping outlet where you made a warranty claim

1) Do I have deductible clause within my contract?
If you have the insurance of extended warranty you will not be required to cover any deductible
If you have the insurance of accidental damage/theft, deductible covers 15% in first year of validity of insurance contract and 25% in its second year
2) What are the coverage limits of my insurance?
Whether you have extedned warranty or the insurance for accidental damage/theft, the limit of the insurance is always limited by the initial purchase price of the product
Effectively, this means that the sum of all payments related to the insurance claim cannot exceed the purchase price of the product
3) Is there a possibility for insurance company to charge me for repairs done on the product?
In case insurance limit has been exceeded, there is a possibility you will be required to make additional payments for repairs
You will be notified of this fact by our employees beforehand, with an option to suspend the repairs altogether
5) Do the Terms and Conditions of my insurance guarantee I will receive a new product?
We always try to solve your risk in shortest time possible. The maximum legally permissible duration equals three months
The duration of handling a specific claim depends on several aspects, e.g. the scope and the type of the damage/defect, availability of replacement components etc.
After claim is submitted to us we will verify the validity of your claim and then your appliance is sent to one of our providers
5) Do the Terms and Conditions of my insurance guarantee I will receive a new product?
In case your product is declared to be irreparable, you are entilted to a new product with similar parameters
If our partners declare that repairs are indeed not possible/feasible, we will provide you with a new product, which falls within the price range of your remainig insurance limit
6) Will you surcharge me for new product?
In case, you have already been given a benefit from your insurance, there is a possibility your remaining insurance limit will not be sufficient to purchase new product
You will always receive an offer of available products with parameters similar to those of your original product, including the information on corresponding surcharges
You can choose a product which best suits your needs as well as surcharges which you will find acceptable
7) Who will pay for transport of the product to the repairer?
If it is small product which can be handled by a postal service, costs of transport are covered by the insured
In other cases when we either organize the transportation of the product ourselves (i.e. bigger than 42'' screen TV) or the repairs are done on the spot, the insured is not charged for the transport at all
8) Does my insurance contract also cover the product if it was replaced within the duration of the statutory warranty?
If you claim your warranty during statutory warranty and it is solved by an acquisition of a new product, your current contract becomes invalid
Request an annulment of original insurance contract with your shopping outlet and you can arrange new contract for the replacement product immediately
9) I want to sell product on which I have purchased 'extended warranty' or 'accidental damage/theft' insurance
You can sell the insurance together with the product to new owner
For the new owner to be able to utilize this insurance, the contract must be transferred to the new owner
Send us an application for the change of the owner together with a copy of purchase/sale agreement as soon as possible after the sale takes place
Upon your request we will modify the contract appropriately
Application for change of the owner can only be submitted by the policy holder/insured, not by new owner of the product
If the new owner does not want to utilize the insurance, he may decide to terminate the contract. Instructions for termination are in section 'Information about termination of a contract'
10) I want to insure my new product. Who should I contact?
Insurance of extended warranty and accidental damage/theft is available only through the network of our affiliated shopping outlets
The insurance can only be arranged for a product during its purchase
11) What can be insured?
extended warranty
It extends the statutory warranty
Insurance can be arranged for 1, 2 or 3 years
Total duration of the insurance may not exceed 5 years (for example, if you have three-year-long warranty from the manufacturer, you can get only two years of extended warranty)
Accidental damage/theft
You can arrange it for 1 or 2 years
Insurance is in effect since the day of the purchase
12) What kind of risks are covered by my insurance?
Complete list of all risks can be found in General Terms and Conditions which constitute a part of every insurance contract
In general, accidental damage covers mechanical damage to the product, damage incurred during a fall, spillage of liquids, denting, intrusion of alien objects, etc.
In general, theft insurance covers theft of the product during a robbery or burglary by a third person
13) My product has a malfunction (is damaged), should I contact vendor directly or solve this problem via insurance company?
This information can be easily found in you insurance contract
In the section of the isurance contract 'overview of arranged isurance' is given the type of the insurance and its validity
In case the product was damaged prior to effectiveness of the insurance, you should contact the vendor or the warranty service provider of the brand of your product directly
In case the product was damaged during validity period of extended warranty, the claim should be handled by the insurance company directly
14) Can I arrange an insurance for a legal entity?
All of our affiliate shopping outlets can arrange insurance for natural persons
